FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of tail rotors of helicopters. Proposed tail rotor design consists of a prefabricated hub and blades installed in it on spherical hinges with mutually perpendicular axes. The outer ring of the larger hinge is installed in the root bracket of the blade and perceives to a greater extent the centrifugal force acting on the blade during the rotation of the tail rotor, its spherical component is bolted between the bushings and cheeks of the hub. The second spherical hinge sets the axis of the axial hinge, it perceives only shear forces and is installed in the hub housing. The tail rotor hub is installed through a package of rubber elastic elements on a bolt passing across the tail rotor shaft and acting as the axis of the combined horizontal hinge.
EFFECT: reduced terms of pre-flight and post-flight inspections, maintenance of a light helicopter.
