SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to process wheel pairs. The wheel pair turning machine has a frame with a movable headstock connected by a hydraulic drive with a closed hydraulic circuit, and with a fixed headstock equipped with a spindle connected to the drive with a faceplate. The faceplate is equipped with hydraulic cylinders with clamps connected to a common hydraulic circuit. Supports with tool holders are installed on the rails on the frame. The movable headstock moves along rail guides. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic station connected to a closed hydraulic circuit through a hydraulic distributor and connected to a common hydraulic circuit. On the bed there is a wheel pair lifting mechanism with a hydraulic cylinder connected to a common hydraulic circuit. Supports move along rail guides using servo drives.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the machine and simplification of its design.
