FIELD: oceanology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustic-hydrophysical measuring systems, mainly used to study the effect of space-time inhomogeneities of the sound velocity field on sound propagation on the shelf, as well as to study the modal structures of low-frequency sound fields and internal waves or as a receiver in underwater communication systems. The system contains an armature, a hardware unit for receiving and processing data with a power source and a set of measuring modules installed in series on a flexible carrier. The measuring units and the hardware unit are interconnected by removable cable inserts through sealed connectors, through which data goes to the hardware unit immediately in digital form along the line formed by the interface circuits of the measuring modules and cable inserts. The measuring units are equipped with at least a sound pressure sensor, a thermal sensor, a hydrostatic pressure sensor and a control microcontroller with a unique identification number (ID) corresponding to the parameters and characteristics of this module, they also include power circuits, analogue signal pre-processing circuits, ADC and interface circuits.
EFFECT: increasing the completeness and accuracy of the information received, expanding the functionality, increasing the ease of use and the ability to adapt the system to the conditions and tasks of a particular experiment, as well as increasing the maintainability of the system in case of damage.
