SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for calibrating a distance sensor of an image capturing device. To achieve the result, the method includes obtaining a preview image of a target object on a capturing preview screen; obtaining the first measurement value of the distance sensor when the degree of match between the preview image and the calibration area on the shooting preview screen exceeds a threshold value; and obtaining a calibration offset corresponding to the target based on the first measurement value and the calibration distance.

EFFECT: ensuring calibration of the distance sensor without the use of specialized technical means and special technical knowledge.
