FIELD: soil sampling.

SUBSTANCE: means and devices for sampling soil in the study of bottom sediments of reservoirs. The device for sampling in the study of bottom sediments of reservoirs consists of a box, in the lower part of which doors and springs are movably mounted on axes, and in the upper part of the box two weight plates, a shackle with a trigger mechanism and covers are rigidly fixed. The trigger mechanism consists of a lower platform and an upper platform, on which a guide sleeve with a spring and pins are installed. A cable is passed through the guide sleeve to suspend the device during its operation. The guide sleeve is equipped with a swivel for attaching the cable. An electronics unit made in a sealed waterproof design is installed on the box, in which the microcontroller and the depth sensor, accelerometer, digital thermometer, battery, electromechanical drive connected to it by wires are rigidly fixed. The microcontroller is configured to: process information from a depth sensor, an accelerometer and a digital thermometer, determine the moment when the box touches the bottom of the reservoir, determine the angle of deviation of the box axis from the vertical, identify the rocky bottom and generate a signal for the collapse of the bottom sampler flaps.

EFFECT: increase in the productivity of soil sampling in the study of bottom sediments of reservoirs.
