FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to working parts for planting onions using in machines for planting onion sets. The device for planting bulbs in the rigs contains two convex disks with a curved surface, installed with a convexity towards each other. The radius of curvature R of the disks is equal to half the diameter D of the disks. In this case, the minimum distance B between the convex parts of the disks, at the maximum angle of attack of the disks α, does not exceed four average diameters of onion sets of the second fraction.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the quality of embedding bulbs in the rigs and, as a result, the yield of onions.
