SUBSTANCE: reel-fork device of an onion planter is an assembly unit consisting of a body and a reel with fork grips in the form of rods, mounted on the shaft of the planting device and designed for piece-by-piece feeding of bulbs into the seed tube. Recesses in the form of a spherical segment are made between the fork grips along the circular arc of the outer diameter of the coil body. In this case, the height h of the spherical segment is determined by the expression
and the sphere diameter D of the spherical segment is (0.9…1.0) dmax, where R is the sphere radius, mm; r is the radius of the base of the spherical segment, equal to half the step t, mm; dmax - the maximum diameter of the planted onion sets, mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to carry out single-piece selection and supply of bulbs to the seed tube, regardless of the fraction of bulbs planted.
