SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a locking system for a window or door shutter, in particular to a locking system in the form of a lever handle system. A locking system for a window or door shutter comprises: a lock body (2) configured to be installed on the window or door shutter (100), a locking bolt (5) movable between an extended configuration from the lock body (2) and a retracted configuration in the body (2) of the lock, and at least one control element (12) configured to be actuated manually by the user and cinematically connected or configured to be connected to the locking bolt (5), moreover, it is possible to influence the specified control element ( 12) manually by pressing or pulling force to occupy at least two working positions corresponding to the extended configuration and, accordingly, the retracted configuration of the locking bolt (5). The control element (12) is configured to act directly on the locking bolt (5) by means of at least one movable element (8) installed directly on the control element (12) or locking bolt (5). Said movable element (8) is formed by a pin mounted on said locking bolt (5) in an integral manner and having direct contact engagement with said control element (12). The system also contains a side plate (13) configured to be mounted on the leaf (100) and/or body (2) of the lock, and the control element (12) is fixed on the side plate (13) so as to have at least one movement component along the direction of movement of the locking bolt (5). The control element (12) has a hooking part (17) configured to capture said pin (8) to retract the locking bolt (5) at least from the extended position to the pushed position when moving.

EFFECT: obtaining a locking system for a window or door shutter, which has noticeably smaller dimensions.
