FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: silhouette registration of fast processes accompanied by intense radiation in the optical range. Method includes video recording of the process with high-speed video cameras against the background of a diffusion-scattering screen illuminated by a pulsed light source, the start of which is synchronized with the start of the process under study. Video recording is carried out from one angle by two asynchronously launched video cameras. In this case, one of the cameras is first launched, and the other is triggered by a signal from the first video camera.
EFFECT: improving the quality of frames, increasing the number of received working frames with better resolution in one experiment, simplifying synchronization with the beginning of the process under study, minimizing the risk of a complete loss of experimental information when working in field conditions.
