SUBSTANCE: method for monitoring the state of the lining of thermal units using three-dimensional scanning of the working surface of the lining by photogrammetry. A method is claimed for monitoring the condition of the lining of thermal units, which includes obtaining a 3D model of the reference surface of the thermal unit lining, taking photographs of the surface of the active lining of the thermal unit, processing the photographs with a computer to obtain a 3D model of the active lining of the thermal unit, comparing it with the 3D model of the reference surface lining and building a topographic map of lining wear. The reference surface of the lining is obtained by 3D modeling of the surface of the active layer of the thermal unit lining or by photographing the reinforcing lining, taking into account the thickness of the buffer layer or by photographing the surface of the active layer of the new lining. Moreover, before taking photographs, at least three control points with known coordinates are applied to the body of the thermal unit, which are marked with point light sources. The distance between the control points is measured, the positioning and scaling of the 3D model of the active surface of the lining is performed by combining the X, Y, Z axes with the axes of the 3D model of the reference surface in accordance with the control points.

EFFECT: achievement of high accuracy of lining thickness measurement.
