FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to methods of control of mutually coupled switch reluctance motor (MSRM). Recommended for increasing energy efficiency of reluctance motors by optimizing control with increased requirements for energy saving in adjustable mutually coupled switch reluctance electric drives for pumps and fans in housing and communal services and various industries. In the control method reduction of the number of variable control parameters αop, αimp and αp (see Fig. 1) is achieved by establishing a relationship between them, which ensures the maximum efficiency of the engine, which makes it possible to move from a three-dimensional dependence of the torque function on variable control parameters to a one-dimensional one. The establishment of such relationship for the manufactured engine can be implemented based on a series of experiments using a torque sensor at different loads and speeds. Based on the results obtained, two-dimensional dependencies are then determined αop_ηmax (M, n) and αimp_ηmax (M, n), which are used to calculate the tables of optimal phase control parameters with subsequent flashing of their values into the controller of the control system of the voltage inverter powering the MSRM (see Fig. 6 and 7).
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of already manufactured MSRMs by optimizing and simplifying their control algorithms.
