FIELD: personal protective equipment.
SUBSTANCE: headgear is claimed for protecting the face from frostbite and heating the inhaled air at low temperatures, completely covering the head, forehead and lower part of the face and containing an inhaled air heating unit, which consists of a body with intake and exhaust valves, a plate heat exchanger and a frame for mounting the unit heating the inhaled air on the lower part of the face of the headgear, while the exhaust valve cover contains holes made in such a way that the flow of exhaled air is directed downwards, moreover, holes for draining condensate are made in the lower part of the body, and the plate heat exchanger contains inlet and outlet manifolds which allow to protect the upper respiratory tract in the cold season.
EFFECT: protection of the face from frostbite and heating the inhaled air at low temperatures.
