FIELD: wind energy.
SUBSTANCE: wind generator contains a vertical support in which the shaft of a flat frame rotates, in the bearings of which vertical shafts with rotors arranged in a row rotate. The frame is equipped with fairings that direct wind flows to the rotor blades, and shields that protect the rotors from side wind. The rotation of the rotors is synchronized and transmitted through the gearbox to the generator. The frame is rotated using a reversible electric motor according to signals from the control unit, depending on the speed and direction of the wind and on the voltage at the generator output. The frame is rotated along the wind or across the direction of the wind, if, respectively, the specified voltage is greater or less than the voltage at the output of the generator. During a storm, the frame with the rotors is rotated along the direction of the wind, fairings and side shields protect the rotor blades from the wind, and the rotation of the rotors practically stops. The wind generator can be equipped with rotors with fixed or rotary blades, the slope of which is regulated by guides, and rotors with canvas blades stretched between the outer and inner rotors with offset parallel axes of rotation can also be installed.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency and stability of the wind generator and protection of the generator during a storm.
