ROCKET GLIDER WITH HOMING UNDERWATER PROJECTILE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC F42B15/00 F42B17/00

Abstract RU 2796086 C1

FIELD: military.

SUBSTANCE: glider rocket with a homing underwater projectile is proposed. The rocket-glider has a carrying body and a starting jet engine attached to it in the rear part with a device for its separation and a stabilizer. The stabilizer in the folded state does not go beyond the dimensions of the engine housing, has blades that unfold during flight and a device for their unfolding. A self-guided underwater projectile with a device for attaching it to the body and separating it from it is placed in the front compartment of the rocket body, the head of the projectile extends beyond the dimensions of the compartment. The compartment is sealed against water with a sealing ring. In the middle compartment of the rocket body, its on-board control and telecontrol system, current source and altimeter are located. A load-bearing wing that unfolds in flight, laid inside the hull, and a mechanism for its layout and rotation, providing control of the missile along the course and height. In the rear compartment of the rocket body, there are rudders and elevators that are laid out in flight and laid inside the body, mechanisms for their layout and rotation, a brake parachute, receiving and transmitting antennas of the telecontrol channel, a homing underwater projectile has compartments in the front part with a non-contact target detection system, with a charge explosive and a fuse, with an on-board control system and a current source, in the middle part there is a compartment with a power plant. A propulsion unit, stabilizers and rudders with mechanisms for turning them are installed in the rear part. Additionally, the homing underwater projectile is equipped with a device for contactless data entry into its on-board control system, and in the rear compartment of the rocket body there is a float with a non-return valve and a flexible connection with the body to keep the rocket at a given depth after splashdown.

EFFECT: development of a missile having an increased flight range, small weight and size characteristics for use from small ships and aircrafts, as well as the creation of a means of destroying an underwater target capable of attacking a target from a guaranteed defeat distance.
