FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of marine targets destruction by aircraft with application of self-guided torpedo. Control of the torpedo is carried out with participation of the operator in remote control mode, for this purpose the torpedo is equipped with radio-hydroacoustic buoy and a wire or fibre-optic cable, by means of which the radio-hydroacoustic buoy is connected to the on-board torpedo control system. After the torpedo is drowned, the radio-hydroacoustic buoy is separated from it and lifted to the surface, and the torpedo is directed to the target along the specified route. Integrity of wire or cable is ensured by winding it on coil, which is placed on torpedo. As the torpedo moves, the wire or cable is unwound from the coil. Movement of the torpedo on the trajectory is controlled with the help of a radio-hydroacoustic buoy. Position of above-water sea target is controlled by radio surveillance equipment of aircraft, and underwater one - by means of external information sources, radio-acoustic buoy of torpedo.
EFFECT: high efficiency of guiding the torpedo on the target with its active hydroacoustic countermeasures.
