SUBSTANCE: invention includes a potentiator of phosphorus and calcium absorbed by the plant - glyceric acid. The use of a fertilizer composition that includes a potentiator of plant-consumed phosphorus and calcium, where the potentiator of plant-consumed phosphorus and calcium is glyceric acid in form of a water-soluble powder, granulate or in liquid form dissolved in water in advance, and the composition is used for foliar application in an amount of 0.5 to 20 kg/ha and 0.06 to 1 kg/ha. The used combination of a fertilizer composition includes a plant-consumed phosphorus and calcium potentiator, where the plant-consumed phosphorus and calcium potentiator is glyceric acid with another additional fertilizer selected from nitrogen fertilizers, phosphate fertilizers, potash fertilizers, calcium fertilizers, and improvers, micro elements, boric acid and leonardite, as well as their combinations, and the fertilizer composition is applied directly in an amount of from 75 to 1500 kg/ha in form of granules.

EFFECT: inventions make it possible to reduce environmental pollution while providing an alternative to traditional phosphate fertilizers and increase the efficiency of phosphorus use and the yield of cultivated plants.
