FIELD: noise suppression.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression of gas compressor units (GPU) of compressor stations on main gas pipelines. A noise suppression system for the exhaust device of a gas-pumping unit is proposed, which contains a noise suppressor housing of rectangular cross section with flat noise suppression plates located downstream and attached to the noise suppressor housing. At the same time, flat noise suppression plates are rigidly attached to the walls of the silencer housing on one side, and on the other side, to holders that ensure the movement of the noise suppression plates.
EFFECT: decrease in thermal stresses in the noise suppression plates is ensured.
