FIELD: gas turbine technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for gas pumping units (GPA) of compressor stations on main gas pipelines. In the air purifying device of the gas pumping unit, it is rectangular in plan with longitudinal and lateral sides, containing air filter blocks grouped into modules and fixed in the upper module, and a means of protecting the air filters from direct ingress of precipitation in the form of a tent-type protective cap, while all modules are made in the form of rectangular prisms containing side walls with internal and external skins, assembled on rectangular frames having corner and vertical posts, bevels of parts of the flanges forming assembled flanges intended for flange connections, the gap between the skins is filled with thermal insulation, so that the air purification device consists of modules, in the top of which there are four L-shaped filter frames, each pair of filter frames forms a clean air chamber, which are located opposite each other, between the pairs of filter frames there are service compartments, separated in the centre by a blank wall made perpendicular to the longitudinal sides, which ensures the formation of two independent air inlets into clean chambers with uniform air flow in front of the air filter units and is guaranteed to exclude air flow between service compartments. The lower module may contain one or more diffusers to direct the air flow. The divider can be made in the form of an inverted triangular prism along the longitudinal side. A service platform can be installed for access to the service compartments on the longitudinal sides of the upper module, outside it.

EFFECT: increase in the number of placed air filter units has been achieved with the same dimensions of the air-purifying device and the elimination of air flow between service compartments.
