FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to carry out gravimetric surveys, measure variations in gravitational acceleration over time, build gravimetric maps, and solve many other gravimetric problems. The gravimeter comprises a sensor, in the body of which there is a disk with a test mass fixed on its inner side surface, electrodes installed on the inner surfaces of the sensor housing with a gap relative to the upper and lower parts of the test mass, a device for throwing the test mass, located under the sensor, made in the form of a hollow cylinder, inside of which there is an eccentric disk mounted for rotation and contact with the sensor body, at least three springs connecting the upper end of the device for throwing the test mass with the sensor body, two units for conversion of the test mass motion into an electrical signal connected to the electrodes, a unit for difference of values of output signals of the units for conversion of the test mass motion into an electrical signal, a unit for comparison of difference of output signals of the units for conversion of the test mass motion into an electrical signal with a reference value, a disc rotation speed control unit, an eccentric disk rotation speed measurement unit and an eccentric disk rotation motor. In this case, the units for conversion of the test mass motion into an electrical signal are connected to the unit for difference in the values of the output signals of the converter units, the output of which is connected to the unit for comparison of difference of the output signals of the converter units with a reference value, the output of which is connected to the unit for controlling the speed of the eccentric disk, the output of which is connected to the eccentric disc rotation motor that is connected to the eccentric disc and the eccentric disc rotation speed measuring unit.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and accuracy of measurements by reducing the influence of drift phenomena and increasing the polling frequency of the gravimeter over a minimum time.
