FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as part of radio communication equipment, radar ranging, as well as in tasks of a special (military and state) nature, for simultaneous measurement of the arrival time and duration of a single ultra-wideband (UWB) signal with unknown amplitude and initial phase against the background of random distortions. The device for measuring the UWB arrival time and duration of a quasi-radio signal (QRS) of an arbitrary waveform additionally contains the fifth and sixth adders, the fifth, sixth, ninth and tenth integrators, the first and second frequency doubling unit, the first and second initial phase doubling unit and the fourth and fifth multipliers.
EFFECT: creating new systems and improving existing communication and data transmission systems with a simplified device that can be used in a difficult interference environment.
