SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in broadband systems for transmitting information, estimating propagation channel parameters and performing frequency-time synchronization procedures. The inventive method includes a procedure for generating original phase and polarization code sequences for binary PSKBB signals with orthogonal polarization coding (PC). Thus, the formed binary PSKBB signals with orthogonal PC have optimal aperiodic ACFs and MCFs.

EFFECT: formation of pairs of binary phase-shift keyed broadband signals (PSKBB) with polarization coding with optimal aperiodic autocorrelation functions having zero side lobes and optimal cross-correlation functions having zero side and central lobes.
