FIELD: armory.
SUBSTANCE: telescopic unitary ammunition of smooth-bore firearms includes a cylindrical sleeve made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy filled with dispersed corundum fiber, a sub-caliber conical striking element with an end cavity. The invention relates to unitary ammunition for smooth-bore firearms, having a telescopic design and equipped with sub-caliber submunitions. Ammunition for smooth-bore firearms consists of a cylindrical sleeve made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, filled with dispersed corundum fiber, having a protective surface coating and a primer holder made in the bottom. The ammunition also consists of a sub-caliber conical striking element with an end cavity and a segmented shell pallet fixed in a sleeve and containing a head obturator, side protrusions and a tail part that extends into the end cavity of the striking element. The ammunition additionally consists of a propellant charge located in the space between the pallet and the cartridge case, and an igniter capsule, the shape of which corresponds to the shape of the primer holder. The walls and bottom of the sleeve are filled with axially and radially oriented fibers, respectively. The outer surface of the sleeve is coated with polyimide varnish filled with colloidal graphite. The inner surface of the sleeve is covered with film made of trialkoxysilane over which an elastic silicone coating is applied.
EFFECT: improving the strength characteristics of the liner, eliminating the risk of ignition of the liner in abnormal conditions for the production of a shot.
