FIELD: hydraulic engineering devices.
SUBSTANCE: mechanical cleaning of trash screens at water intake facilities. Before descending to clean the trash screen 9, the rotary jaw 4 of the grab 2 is moved to the open position with the help of the oil pressure unit 12, and the grab 2 on the trolley 5 under its own weight begins to descend along the turning part of the 6 inclined tracks with the transition to the stationary part of the 7 inclined tracks. All trash collected on the trash screen is raked and captured by the jaws 3 and 4 of the grab 2. Then the movement mechanism 11 is switched on for lifting and the grab 2 on the trolley 5 with the collected trash begins to rise to its upper position on the turning part 6 of the inclined tracks. After that, the rotary part 6 of the inclined tracks with the grab 2 fixed on it, by means of the mechanism 10, is transferred to a vertical position simultaneously with the transfer of the oil pressure unit 12 to this position, which puts the rotary jaw 4 of the grab into the open position and all the trash is poured into a container for it. The possibility is provided for the machine to independently move from one head of the waterway of the hydraulic structure to another and to clean all trash screens of the hydraulic structure.
EFFECT: mechanism for removing trash from the surface of the trash screens in the form of a flat-jawed grab allows to effectively clean the trash screens.
