FIELD: providing multimedia content to users.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to reproduce and control the use of intellectual property objects via the Internet by any number of users. The invention relates to a method and system for processing audio content. In the method, the content is uploaded to a global audio content server, the uploaded content is sent for moderation, the audio content is decoded and an audio content spectrogram is generated, an acoustic fingerprint of the audio content is generated and stored, audio content duplication is checked using the generated fingerprint, the audio content is tagged based on the audio content spectrogram, the moderated audio content is saved, a request to search for audio content on Internet services is sent, the data received is analysed in response to the request and a correspondence is established between the audio content loaded into the system and the content found on Internet services, data is exchanged with Internet services at a specified frequency, while tracking data on the playback of audio content and storing audio content playback data on the global audio content server, generating an audio content track code, sending a request to radio stations to receive information about audio content rentals, generating an audio content rental code based on the data received from radio stations, comparing the track code and the audio content rental code, and for each match generating a playback code audio content, data on the playback of audio content on radio stations with a given frequency is transmitted and data is stored on the global audio content server information on the playback of audio content, data is received on the playback of audio content on end user playback devices and saved in the database of the global audio content server, a final report is generated on playback audio content based on audio content playback data stored in the global audio content server database.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of detecting the use of audio content.
