FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of controlling and regulating the flow of a fluid medium in the field of medicine. The fluid medium regulator for a medical device comprises a fluid medium regulation circuit, which has a system of fluid medium channels and at least one fluid medium control component, which are placed between the inlet connection and the outlet connection, a control circuit containing at least one electric and/or electronic component and configured to control at least one fluid control component of the fluid control loop, a first carrier that has a first mounting surface and a first attachment surface, and a second carrier that has a second mounting surface and a second attachment surface. In this case, at least one fluid control component of the fluid control circuit and at least one electrical and/or electronic component of the control circuit are placed on the mounting surfaces of the supporting parts. Also, at least one first fluid channel recess is provided in the first attachment surface, and/or at least one second fluid channel recess is provided in the second attachment surface, and both bearing parts are connected to each other by their attachment surfaces in such a way that at least one first fluid channel recess and/or at least one second fluid channel recess define(s) at least one main fluid channel of the fluid channel system.
EFFECT: compact design and the ability to control the flow of medical gas are achieved.
