METHOD OF TREATING EUSTACHIAN TUBE DYSFUNCTION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61F11/00 A61N1/30 A61N2/04 A61K38/51 A61P27/16

Abstract RU 2798699 C1

FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology; physiotherapy; physical and rehabilitation medicine.

SUBSTANCE: ultraphonophoresis is performed using the Tonsillor-MM apparatus with an endoural electrode-waveguide in a continuous mode. The oscillation amplitude of the radiating end of the waveguide is 10 μm, which corresponds to the values "1" of the amplitude level indicator on the front panel of the control unit. The duration of the first procedure is 20 s. In subsequent procedures, the time is increased to 30 s. The procedures are carried out sequentially in each internal auditory canal. A turunda impregnated with a 0.1% solution of Fermencol and Fermenkol gel is placed in each auditory meatus. After the end of ultraphonophoresis, the same turundas are left in the ear canals for the period of multichannel electrical stimulation. Multichannel electrical stimulation is carried out by Miomodel-10 using two electrodes. Electrodes are applied on both sides in the areas of the salivary glands, submandibular areas, lateral surfaces of the neck and trapezius muscle in the upper thoracic spine, simultaneously in one procedure on seven fields, with current until weak muscle contraction under the electrodes, sending impulses and a pause of 2 s. The duration of the first procedure is 5 minutes. In subsequent procedures, the time is gradually increased to 10 minutes. The treatment is carried out daily, the course of treatment is 8–10 procedures for each type of exposure.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to safely increase the effectiveness of the treatment of eustachian tube dysfunction, improve lymphatic drainage, reduce inflammation and intoxication, and reduce the risk of allergic reactions.
