FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: designs of helicopters with a single rotor. The tail rotor (4) of the helicopter contains a shaft (6) rotating around the first axis (A), a group of blades (8) hinged on the shaft (6) and capable of rotating around the second axes (B), a control element (16) capable of slide along the first axis (A) and rotate together with the shaft (6), connected to the blades (8) to rotate them around the second axes (B), a control mechanism (10) capable of sliding in the axial direction with a fixed angle to the shaft (6), and a connecting element (17) located between the control mechanism (10) and the control element (16) and capable of sliding in the axial direction along the shaft (6) with the control mechanism (10). The control mechanism (10) contains the first and second rods (60, 61). The screw (4) contains a sleeve (70) which is designed to maintain or prevent rotation of the second link (61) relative to the first link (60) when the torque about the first axis (A) applied by the first connecting element (17) to the second link (61), more or less than the threshold value in case of failure of the connecting element (17).
EFFECT: possibility of timely detection of a failure state of the rolling bearing, sufficient controllability of the tail rotor in case of failure of the rolling bearing.
