FIELD: steel vessels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a foundation for a vertical steel tank operated in permafrost conditions. The foundation for a vertical steel tank comprises a reinforced concrete slab, horizontally oriented pipes laid inside the slab, and air collectors. The pipes in the slab are laid parallel to each other, the end sections of the pipes on each side are connected to each other by air collectors connecting the pipes to each other and mounted from each of the end sections of the pipes, said air collectors are divided into sections separated from each other by blank partitions. One section of the air collector communicates at least two pipes, in each of the sections of the air collectors a pair of vertically oriented supply and exhaust ducts are mounted, where the height of the supply duct is less than the height of the exhaust duct. Opposite the supply duct of one air collector, an exhaust duct is mounted on the opposite section of the second air collector and vice versa.
EFFECT: ensuring uniform cooling of soils under the foundation, increasing the spatial rigidity of the foundation, minimizing the load on the foundation and increasing the duration of the preservation of soils in a frozen state for the entire service life.
