SPATIAL FOUNDATION PLATFORM Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2206665 C1

FIELD: construction of foundations for various structures on permafrost, soft, subsiding, heaving grounds and in seismically risky zones, building of foundations for overground tanks included. SUBSTANCE: spatial foundation platform includes upper and lower plates interjoined by means of metal members. Novelty of invention lies in that in process of construction on soft, heaving, subsiding grounds and in seismically risky zones upper plate is laid with ribs downwards and lower plate is placed with ribs upwards, they are interjoined with the use of metal spatial strut frames with columns and angle braces to form single spatial structure to be put on upper plate as on foundation platform common for one or several tanks together with servicing pipe-lines and equipment. Sizes of supporting area of spatial foundation platform exceed sizes of supporting area of overfoundation structure. Upper and lower plates jointly with metal spatial strut frame form under floor area ventilated and blown through from all directions which prevents heat exchange between heated filling agent in tank and permafrost. Technical result of invention lies in design of spatial foundation platform for construction on permafrost, soft, subsiding and heaving grounds and in seismically risky zones thanks to increased stiffness of entire spatial foundation platform with low usage of metal, convenient for transportation and exploitation, for conducting repairs in case emergency. EFFECT: design of foundation platform applicable for construction on unstable grounds or permafrost and in seismically risky zones. 4 dwg
