FIELD: hairdressing.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to methods for lengthening short hair and increasing the volume of hair. A method of hair extension is characterized by isolating the patient's own strand of hair, preparing a donor strand, joining the patient's own and donor strands with an adhesive method. A section of donor hair that has undergone initial mechanical, thermal and chemical treatment is held in the palm of the hand so that the said section protrudes 2-4 cm out of the hand. The protruding section is held between the index and thumb of the same hand, the tips of the protruding section are aligned and, after temporarily loosening the fixation with the thumb, the section is evenly distributed on the index finger with a fan, pre-melted glue capsule is applied to the section of donor hair protruding from the palm, ensuring uniform application of glue on a strip 4 to 10 mm wide along the edge of the donor hair section, thereby forming an adhesive base 4 to 10 mm wide. After the adhesive base of the donor hair section is formed and the glue hardens, hold the donor hair section at the base, comb it and re-align the edge of the cut with scissors along the glue base, leaving the glue base 1-3 mm wide. The prepared section of donor hair is divided into strands for their connection with own isolated strand by placing the donor strand with an adhesive base under the own strand, followed by heating the adhesive base and forming a fixing capsule around the donor and own hair strands by uniform compaction with the fingers.

EFFECT: reduction of complexity of the hair extension procedure and an increase in the quality of the procedure.
