SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the preparation of artillery weapons for combat use. The claimed method of reconciliation includes fixing the cross hairs at the marks on the muzzle brake of the gun, levelling the gun barrel, installing aiming devices in regular places, installing a periscope artillery aiming circle (PAB-2A) in front of the gun at any distance convenient for work, levelling the PAB-2A along the ball levelling and aiming it at the crosshairs on the cut of the muzzle brake of the gun, setting 30-00 on the goniometric ring and goniometer drum, checking the zero settings of the sight. In this case, the crosshairs on the cut of the muzzle brake of the gun are directed to the middle of the ball heel of the periscope artillery aiming circle, then the periscope artillery aiming circle is pointed at the head of the panorama of the sight and the resulting goniometer value is read, the gun is marked in relation to the periscope artillery aiming circle and the goniometer reading is read from the view finder. In case of inequality of angles, the goniometer reading of the panorama obtained from the periscope artillery aiming circle is set according to the scales of the goniometer mechanisms: 4 screws on the locking bar are unscrewed by 1-2 turns and the index is combined with the number of the goniometer of the periscope artillery aiming circle by rotating the cam.

EFFECT: ensuring the alignment of the zero line of aiming the optical sight of an artillery gun in any conditions of a combat situation, under any weather conditions, at any time of the year and day.
