Automated rod addition system consists of a mast, a drilling head with a drilling tool, a rotator hydraulic drive, a rope-and-tackle system with feed drive hydraulic cylinders, a rotary separator with rods, a separator drive hydraulic cylinder, a wrench with a hydraulic cylinder, an oil station with a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic distributor for the rotator hydraulic drive and feed drive hydraulic cylinders, a separator and a wrench with control electromagnets, a drill head position sensor, horizontal rod movement sensors, a control panel and a controller. Additionally, a multi-channel differentiation unit and pressure sensors of the rotator hydraulic drive, the wrench extension line, the rod end of the hydraulic cylinder of the wrench drive, the rod end of the hydraulic cylinder of the separator drive, the rod end of the hydraulic cylinders of the feed drive, the outputs of which, together with the outputs of the multi-channel differentiation unit, the control panel, the control inputs of the electromagnets of the hydraulic distributor, the inputs and outputs of the controller are connected to the data bus.
