FIELD: heat and mass transfer apparatus.
SUBSTANCE: section of a regular nozzle is disclosed, which has a frame, mesh elements fixed in the frame, made of threads, installed at an angle to the gas flow. The distance between the mesh elements in each row is calculated as the product of the height of the mesh element and the tangent of the angle of the mesh elements inclination. In this case, the frame of the section has a mesh structure. Mesh elements are flat, made of a composite material, have cells in the form of a quadrangle with a size selected from the interval: 2.5÷ 5× 2.5÷ 5 mm, and installed at an angle to the gas flow, selected from the interval 21°÷ 30°.
EFFECT: increasing the specific mass transfer coefficient.
