FIELD: railway rolling stock.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a body with a microprocessor control system and a two-stage spring suspension with elastic mechanical elements for regulating vibrations and mitigating loads. Magnetoelectric vibration dampers with electric energy recovery are installed in parallel to the mechanical elements. Magnetoelectric dampers are isolated from frames and axle boxes by dielectric spacers. Electrical energy is transferred through voltage converters to energy storage devices. Accelerometers are placed on each axle box and in close proximity to the pivot assembly on each bogie frame to record the values of transverse and longitudinal vibration amplitudes. The microprocessor control system processes the signals from the accelerometers and sends signals through the energy storage devices to reduce mechanical resistance of the vibration dampers.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of vibration damping.
