FIELD: diolefins
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing monoolefins by hydrogenation of diolefins, which includes the step of reacting a starting material comprising a diolefin with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst. Moreover, the catalyst comprises a carrier comprising the first carrier and the second carrier deposited on the outer surface of the first carrier, and the catalytic active component deposited on the second carrier, while the first carrier has a porosity that is less than or equal to 35%, the ratio of the thickness of the second carrier and the effective diameter of the first carrier is from 0.01 to 0.2, and the second carrier is characterized by a pore distribution curve with two pore distribution peaks, the first pore distribution peak having a vertex corresponding to a pore diameter in the range from 4 to 80 nm, and the second peak the pore distribution has a vertex corresponding to a pore diameter in the range of 100 to 8000 nm, whereas the effective diameter means the actual diameter of the first carrier when the first carrier has a spherical shape, or, when the first carrier has a non-spherical shape, the effective diameter means the diameter of a sphere obtained, when the first carrier is present in the form of a sphere.
EFFECT: increased degree of conversion and selectivity.
