FIELD: method for removing dissolved oxygen in petroleum products.
SUBSTANCE: invented method includes the following stages: (1) mixing the petroleum product with hydrogen, preferably at a volume ratio of hydrogen to petroleum product of 1.0 to 4.0; and (2) contacting the mixture obtained in step (1) with a deoxygenation catalyst to carry out a hydrodeoxygenation reaction, the catalyst comprising a support comprising a first support and a second support supported on an outer surface of the first support, and a catalytic active component supported on a second support, wherein the first support has a porosity that is less than or equal to 35%, preferably the catalytic active component contains at least one IUPAC group 8-14 metal. The ratio of the thickness of the second support to the effective diameter of the first support of the deoxygenation catalyst is from 0.01 to 0.2.
EFFECT: good deoxygenation stability and long service life, and the degree of removal of traces of dissolved oxygen in the petroleum product can be 95% or more.
