SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the methods of treating a disease associated with immunoglobulin E (IgE) and representing allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis or hyper-IgE syndrome which include (i) administration to a subject in need of this first dose of an antibody that binds to CεmX domain of membrane-bound IgE, and (ii) administering to the subject a second dose of the antibody, wherein the second dose is administered at least 8 weeks and up to 6 months after the first dose, and the first dose, the second dose, or both are in the range of 1–10 mg/kg.

EFFECT: reduction of the level of total IgE in humans for at least three months with the introduction of a single dose of antibodies.
