SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to an antibody directed against CD4 molecule. A pharmaceutical composition containing the specified antibody, methods for HIV treatment, methods for the inhibition of HIV entry, inhibition of gp120 binding to CD4+ cell, a method for activating a resting CD4+ T-cell, and a method for activating latent HIV reservoir in a resting T-cell using the specified antibody or a pharmaceutical composition are also disclosed.
EFFECT: invention allows for the effective treatment of HIV-infection.
