FIELD: production of fuel briquettes based on charcoal.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a fuel briquette is proposed, which consists in preparing a binder from starch and water, mixing the binder with crushed charcoal, forming and drying briquettes from the resulting briquette mass, characterized in that when preparing the binder, potassium chlorate or sodium chlorate is additionally added to it, or potassium perchlorate, or sodium perchlorate, borax, magnesium oxide or silicon oxide, the resulting mass is mixed with crushed charcoal with a fraction of not more than 2 mm in the following ratio, wt.%: charcoal - 49-53, starch - 2-3, borax - 0.1-0.15, potassium chlorate, or sodium chlorate, or potassium perchlorate, or sodium perchlorate - 0.25-1.0, magnesium oxide or silicon oxide - 0.15-0.5, water - the rest, then plasticization of the resulting briquette mass is carried out using a screw extruder, after which the briquette mass is reshaped by passing the briquette mass through the extruder with a die, while at the exit of the extruder in front of the die, the briquette mass is cooled, passed through the die, the briquette mass coming out of the holes of the die is cut into briquettes and dried in a drying chamber for at least 40 hours with gradual heating to a maximum temperature of 70-80° C and gradually cooled to 35-40° C and humidity of briquettes of 2-3%.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the resulting fuel briquette, in particular, an increase in the uniformity of combustion and completeness of burn-out, stability of the form during combustion, and a decrease in the formation of cracks.
