FIELD: chemistry, process technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conversion of milled solid carbon-containing materials into household fuel by briquetting with non-organic plasticizers and modifying additives. Milled solid carbon-containing material (coal slack or powder) in 35-45 wt % rate is mixed with beforehand prepared solution, containing 5 10 wt % clay, 10-15 wt % solid alcohol, and the rest water. This is followed by briquetting of the mix in extruder press, briquette covering by 40 wt % solid alcohol solution in water, preliminary drying at temperature 100-150°C during 30 min, and natural drying at minimum ambient temperature 20°C. Invention allows to increase briquette strength up to 19.1 kg/cm2, and due to covering applied to enhance briquette ignition at low temperatures.
EFFECT: lowering costs of briquette manufacture; simplified process technology and use of available ingredients in mixture composition.
