FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles with an armoured hull designed to transport personnel, weapons and cargo, escort and guard convoys, patrolling, power support for special operations, conducting reconnaissance activities with the protection of the crew and troops. The modular armoured car is a ground-based mechanical vehicle with its own engine, independent drive, on-board power supply system and a wheeled undercarriage comprising a housing in which a habitable compartment with a driver's cabin is located. The rear of the car is a continuation of the carrier frame of the chassis or body in the form of a loading platform. The hull, including the bottom, doors and hatches, the engine compartment with fuel tanks, wheel arches are fully armoured. All windows are made of armoured glass, the wheels have bulletproof tires with automatic air pumping and adjustable pressure. The habitable compartment and hull doors are provided with loopholes for firing. A remote-controlled machine gun is mounted on the roof of the hull. A folding ramp is equipped in the rear part of the cargo platform of the hull. A buffer element is installed on the upper surface of the carrier frame next to the habitable compartment.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of use and expansion of the operational capabilities of the vehicle.
