FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for verifying commercial gas metering systems of gas filling dispenser (GFD) in automatic compressor station gas fillers (ACSGF) when filling with compressed natural gas (CNG) mobile gas fillers (MGF) intended for transportation, short-term storage and distribution of gaseous motor fuel (CNG) to consumers using CNG as a motor fuel, for example, gas powered vehicles. The method for verifying the commercial gas metering system installed at the ACSGF GFDs includes gas supply from a source, wherein the gas is supplied through a high-pressure hose to the refuelling unit of a mobile gas fillers with a reference meter unit installed on it. Next, the gas is supplied to the input of the reference meter by opening the valve, the volume of gas entering the MGF is measured, after which the gas is fed through the open valve into the cylinder unit of the MGF, then during the filling process or after it, the readings of the reference meter are compared with the readings of the commercial gas metering system installed on the gas filling dispenser.

EFFECT: reduction of CNG emissions into the atmosphere during verification.
