FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: piston mechanism consists of piston 1 and support shoe 2. Swivel head 3 of piston 1 is offset relative to axis 4 of piston 1. Cylindrical bearing surface 5 of head 3 is installed on cylindrical bearing surface 6 of shoe 2. Head 3 is T-shaped and is installed in the T-shaped groove of shoe 2. The mating bearing surfaces 6 and 5 of shoe 2 and head 3 are cylindrical in shape with a single centre of curvature. The limiting surfaces of shoe 2 and the head opposite bearing surfaces 5 and 6 are cylindrical in shape with a single centre of curvature.
EFFECT: inseparability of the articulation joint of the support shoe and the piston with a displaced hinged head with a cylindrical bearing surface in absence of operating pressure in the under-piston cavity and under dynamic loads that occur at high speeds of the hydraulic machine.
