FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a rotary impact drilling tool. The drill bit contains a body with a rock-cutting surface, a central through hole and hard-alloy indenters. The rock-cutting surface is formed by rotation relative to the longitudinal geometrical axis of the bit of a sinusoid, the depth of the concave part of which is from 0.15 to 0.20 of the diameter of the bit. Carbide indenters are rigidly fixed into holes that are made on the rock cutting surface evenly along three concentric circles that pass through the vertices and inflection points of the sinusoid. The number of carbide indenters on each circle is selected from a certain ratio, depending on the numerical order of the circle when counted from the centre of the bit. The diameter of carbide indenters is selected in the range from 6.58 to 9.12 times less than the diameter of the bit.
EFFECT: reduction of energy intensity of the drilling process and improvement of cleaning of the bottom of the well from drilling debris.
