SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for radio frequency identification of housing and communal services, in particular containers with municipal solid waste (MSW). The radio frequency identification system for containers with MSW comprises a reader (3), a sensor (6) and a central device (30) for processing information. The reader (3) comprises a microwave and signal processing unit (1), a transceiver antenna (2), a switching device (4), a data transmission line (5), a carrier frequency generator (13), a circulator (14), a mixer (15), amplifier (16), demodulator (17), signal processing unit (18), memory device (19), matching device (20), control device (21) and bandpass filter (22). The sensor (6) comprises a piezocrystal (7), a microstrip transceiver antenna (8), electrodes (9), buses (10) and (11), a set (12) of reflectors. The central information processing device (30) comprises a receiving antenna (23), a high-frequency amplifier (24), a search unit (25), a local oscillator (26), an asynchronous detector (27), a low-pass filter (28), a registration unit (29), a unipolar valve (31), an accumulator (32), a threshold unit (33), a delay line (34), a narrow-band filter (35), three phase inverters (36, 39, 42), three adders (37, 40, 43), two bandpass filters (38, 41).

EFFECT: increased noise immunity and reliability of radio frequency identification of containers with MSW by suppressing false signals (interference) received via intermodulation channels and the forward channel.
