SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in automatic control systems (ACS) of gas turbine engines for various types of aircrafts. The invention can also be applied in automatic control systems of gas turbine installations for power plants, superchargers of main gas pipelines, power gas turbine installations of sea and river vessels, etc. CPV valves during normal operation of the gas turbine engine are closed when the specified values of nVDPr are reached, however, according to the present invention, when the conditions are restored after surge, the air bypass valves are closed higher in terms of the reduced rotational speed nVDPr by the value ΔE regarding the setting during normal operation of the air bypass valve control program. Prompt restoration of the reserves of gas-dynamic stability of the gas turbine engine compressor and reliable restoration of the engine mode after a short-term cessation of fuel supply to the combustion chamber of the gas turbine engine are provided, when the underestimation of the program for limiting fuel consumption Gt into the combustion chamber by a predetermined value (10%) may not be optimal for non-surge restoration of the engine. Surge elimination is carried out with optimal speed and smooth and reliable restoration of gas turbine engine thrust (without excessive fuel overshoots) after the compressor surge protection has been triggered.
EFFECT: restoration of the original conditions without repeated surges.
