FIELD: oil production.
SUBSTANCE: method for cleaning surfaces from various deposits, in particular the remains of liquid hydrocarbons, oil and products of its processing - fuel oil, diesel fuel, oils, lubricants, cleaning tanks used in the oil and related industries, and more specifically - to the removal of thick oil pollution from tanks being cleaned - containers on sea vessels or any other containers for storing and processing oil and related products, in particular, from asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD). Method for cleaning oilfield equipment, storage tanks, railway and truck tanks and oil tankers from deposits; when cleaning, a non-aqueous composition is used containing, wt.%: isopropanol or isobutanol 1.0-25.0, petroleum solvent 1.0-15.0, methyl esters of saturated and/or unsaturated fatty acids, the rest up to 100%.
EFFECT: provision of process method for cleaning deposits, in particular, liquid hydrocarbon residues: fuel oil, diesel fuel, oils, lubricants, ARPD deposits, while improving the quality of cleaning, as well as expanding the range of environmentally friendly, low-toxicity and fireproof and non-corrosive active agents for cleaning oilfield equipment, storage tanks, railway and truck tanks and oil tankers from deposits.
