FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: optical device for sounding the atmosphere and can be used for sounding dense aerosol formations in the atmosphere. The lidar contains optical unit (1), a laser radiation synchronization device, narrow-band filter (9), threshold device (10), the output of which is the output of the lidar, and operator console (17). Optical unit (1) contains laser (2), photodetector (3), narrow-band optical filter (4) and translucent mirror (5) located at an angle of 45° to the optical axis of the photodetector. In this case, the optical axis of photodetector (3) coincides with the direction of laser radiation (2). The synchronization device contains synchronizing generator (6), delay controller (7) and key device (8). Moreover, generator (6) is configured to generate, at one output connected to the input of laser (2), pulses (11) with a frequency of F/2, and at the second output connected to the input of delay controller (7), pulses (23) with frequency of F.
EFFECT: improved noise immunity of the lidar.
