FIELD: electronic warfare.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to ensure the joint interference-free operation of various object optronic equipment (OE) when they are used simultaneously. The method for assessing the electromagnetic compatibility of object OE includes frequency analysis of the OE to identify facilities subject to mutual interference operating at the same wavelengths of radiation and reception or in intersecting ranges, analysis of the conditions for the use of devices subject to mutual interference, analysis of placement and determination of working sectors, determination of directional patterns of emitting and receiving devices, calculation of the distance, intersection of the radiation patterns of devices, and the energy level of the signal scattered in the opposite direction along the propagation path, in the zone of intersection of the patterns, comparison of the level of the interference signal and the receiving channel, which is subject to interference and is acceptable for operation, whereas radiation from OE transmitters scattered along the path of propagation of the beam in the opposite direction is taken as as the source of mutual interference.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of using on-site OE under the influence of unintentional interference caused by the backscattering of optical radiation in the atmosphere.
