FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of an ointment based on beeswax used for the prevention and treatment of various skin diseases of domestic and farm animals. A method of local treatment of skin diseases in animals by using the drug in the form of an ointment applied to the affected areas, and a combined preparation based on beeswax which includes 30.0 g of beeswax; 200.0 ml of sea buckthorn oil; 10.0 g of egg yolk; 10.0 g of honey; 5.0 ml of aloe juice; 20.0 g of neomycin sulfate powder; the drug is applied to the previously cleaned area of the skin lesion if necessary and until recovery.
EFFECT: provision of a wide spectrum of action of the ointment, which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.
